Measurables: Position- Wing Initiator, Height- 6'6, Weight- 190lbs, Wingspan- 6'8
States: 18.4ppg, 9.4rpg, 5.2ast, 1.5stl, 1.3blk. Strengths: The Cade Cunningham of NAIA... Absolutely incredible passer, this cannot be emphasized enough with him... High level game processor who bends NAIA defenses to his will... Can effectively function as a teams primary initiator for extended stretches... Greater shooter with a career 41% from 3 on a high volume... Frenetic motor that never takes possessions off the glass... Plays free safety on defense which gives him great numbers but leaves questions about how he slides against speed... Gets a little out of control sometimes and needs to finish better through contact... Overall the most complete player that the NAIA has seen in years... A legitimate point forward with vision and feel that should translate at a high level. Weaknesses: Finishing at the rim appeared to take a step backwards this year... Got caught sleeping on defense at times... Needs to answer some questions about how he defends athletes 1 on 1... Not always assertive on offense despite always being the most talented player on the floor at the NAIA level. Projected Level: Zaccheus Darko-Kelly has a world of outcomes possible but its not completely farfetched to see him playing on an NBA roster at some point... 6'6 creating wings who shoot 40% from 3 don't grow on trees and that's only scratching the surface of how ZDK truly impacts a game... ZDK is the unorthodox case of an NAIA player who should be playing at the G-League level next season but he could help many high level European teams too. Overview: The best unheralded prospect to come out of the NAIA in recent memory... In a basketball world emphasizing shooting and multi-positional creation, Darko-Kelly hits the nail on the head and is worth a close look even at the highest levels.
